Watrous Bakery & Coffee Shop

Lots of my friends talked about the baking from here and finally I tried it. Delicious donuts, cinnamon buns and bread. I enjoyed everything we tried! Worth the stop

This is a must go place when visiting Watrous or Manitou Beach. The cinnamon buns are heavenly, whether individually or as a set. The oatmeal raisin cookies are also great. In the past, you could order donuts the size of a kitchen plate - not sure if you still can. Staff are pleasant. Requests from family to bring back cinnamon buns unfortunately went unfulfilled because they ran out - too good to last until the afternoon...

We traveled to Watrous in June and had heard about this bakery. It is AMAZING! We stopped in on a Friday around 11:00 or so and they still had fresh items being prepared. It seemed like they had items made through out the day and not just in the morning like any other bakery. The first day we tried a cinnamon bun, apple fritter and a sprinkle donut. They were all delicious!The second day, we went back and bought baking to take home. The cheese biscuits were outstanding and I wish we could get them here! They were delicious! We brought back a few more donuts as well. The staff were great, and this is definitely a place to stop at even if you're driving through the town!

If your travelling through the small Saskatchewan town of Watrous, you have to stop at this bakery there. They have the best baking ever, no end to the sweet treats and the bread and buns melt in your mouth.

Best peanut butter cookies. Truly lovely breads too. They know what they are doing at this bakery. Place was packed when we were there at 2pm.
