Bidrage med feedbackWhat can I say? I really love mom-and-pop restaurants. Although the place looks a bit rundown inside and out, the food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. It was clean, basically just an open space with tables and booths, and I honestly don’t remember any artwork or knick-knacks to look at while waiting for my food—not even a TV. It's located next to the Tomahawk truck stop, and the only reason I'm giving it a four-star rating instead of five is due to the large potholes in the parking lot. I ordered biscuits and gravy with two over-easy eggs for $10, which is a great deal, especially with endless coffee. The waitress kept my cup full the entire time. I’ll definitely be back!
It was just okay. We decided to stop at a local diner while traveling on I-70, thinking it looked charming and would serve great biscuits. While the food was decent, it wasn't anything extraordinary. Our waitress acted unusually and seemed a bit off, which made the experience feel odd. I don't think I would return.
The food is excellent, and the service is great, but the parking lot for big rigs is not ideal—there are some large holes. The interior and exterior feel a bit outdated, but none of that matters because the food is really good. It's located next to the Tomahawk truck stop.
I ordered a steak dinner cooked medium, but it came out well done. The garlic toast lacked any garlic flavor and the portions were quite small.
The biscuits and gravy are fantastic! Additionally, the service was excellent!
