Grub - Waterville

I 've been curious about this place for months. I thought the dark exterior and name Grub were a bit off-putting. But today after reading reviews on google and checking out online photos , I decided to stop by around 11:00 am. There was a wiggle worm and a big open sign out front. I walked into the first entry way and could see the interior. It was dark and there was no pastries or baked goods in the display case. No sign of life other than a guy sitting on a couch in front of a big TV and looking at his phone. So I decided I would turn around and leave. *Tip to owners. You might want to make the place a little more inviting. The dark and creepy exterior and GRUB name are causing people to keep driving I was all set to give you chance.

I had never heard of this place until they showed up on my DoorDash app. I ordered the crack Mac and cheese and was instantly hooked! I drove to Grub a few days later and ordered buffalo crack Mac and cheese (special order, not on the menu). They had run out of chicken but I needed it so bad that I went and bought a couple rotisserie chickens for them.The meal, as expected, was phenomenal!If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. And I’ll definitely be back for more!!Also, the vibe was great and the workers were super friendly and welcoming ?

Excellent food. the pulled pork was slow roasted and tender. the rice was perfectly seasoned with cumin. good stuff

REALLY DELICIOUS comfort food, now on Doordash!! I got pulled pork mac and cheese and its the comfort food ive been craving but couldnt really find around here. 5 stars for great taste and convenience thanks to DoorDash delivery i found a great restaurant

Fantastic food, and the desserts? Ooooh they are heaven in a bite. And scone-game is on point ??
