Z-teca Mexican Eatery - Waterloo

I am now hooked on this restaurant. It is very clean and the staff is friendly and professional. The homemade items like Fajita Vegetables, dipping sauces (salsa), and Tortillas are fantastic. I love watching the staff do some of the cooking in front of me. My family absolutely enjoys the atmosphere here.

I have never had such perfectly cooked juicy shrimp at a taco restaurant before. The shrimp were cooked on a pan, not sitting on a hot table like at some other places. The fish taco was also delicious. On both of my visits, there was no line so my food was made fresh. The pico de gallo tasted very fresh. Two tacos were the perfect amount for me.

We decided to have z-teca cater for a birthday party and we were extremely impressed by the food. It surpassed our expectations and we would definitely order from them again. The food was hot, the portions were generous, and it was all very delicious with a wide variety of options. The manager went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. We highly recommend z-teca for catering services.
