University Gardens - Waterloo

We have been ordering Chinese Food take out from University Gardens for the last 10 years. We just finished our latest meal. It was fantastic, fresh and with just the right amount of seasoning. The chicken and beef pieces were very tender.

Service was fast efficient and the food was top notch!!.. was actually amazed on how fast the food arrived..it probably helped we live within a few km. Yet still for a Friday night? Lol..we use them quite frequently as my wife requires gluten free.. food has been excellent on a regular basis and the menu is extensive..highly recommend

Better than any other Chinese restaurants in the area and a lot cheaper. Highly recommended.

The service was quick, which was a plus. We ordered egg rolls, shrimp rolls, crab rangoon, and shrimp lo mein. Unfortunately, the crab rangoons were a letdown; they were chewy, lacked crispiness, and were mostly just cream cheese with very little crab flavor. The lo mein was quite good and there was definitely a generous portion. The shrimp rolls didn't stand out, and the egg rolls were just okay. Overall, I would say the experience was average.

University Garden has made some impressive improvements. If you visited previously and were satisfied, it's definitely worth another try. The food features more flavorful recipes and generous portions of meat in the dishes. Ordering for takeout or delivery is easy, accurate, and timely. Every experience I've had with ordering from here has been really great.
