Star Wok Chinese - Waterloo

Great ppl, great food... they make my entire family feel welcome and have even welcomed my dragon while I pick up my order and treated him with love which really meant so much to us THAT and the amazing food kept me coming back... it was like visiting a family friend... amazing food and would absolutely recommend.

The takeout packaging and presentation of the food show a lot of attention to detail. The service was quick, and the food was prepared quickly at reasonable prices with generous portions. I ordered the lemon chicken combo platter and was very pleased with both the flavor and the neat packaging. The lemon chicken was juicy, with a perfectly crunchy coating, and it was even sliced beautifully! This is a fantastic spot for takeout!

I ordered the lunch special, chicken lo mein, and I have to say, they really packed it full! When I opened the container, there was about an inch of food that perfectly conformed to the shape of the lid, overflowing from the bottom. I found delightful small pieces of chicken mixed in with the rice, which were a nice surprise. The larger pieces of chicken came with a sauce that blended beautifully with the lo mein. Everything was bursting with flavor! While the chicken in the rice could use a touch more seasoning, when eaten together, they make for a tasty combination. There’s a lot of food for one person, so I definitely have enough leftovers for lunch another day, and maybe even dinner as well!

This is the best Chinese food I've found in Kitchener-Waterloo. The dishes are delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are excellent. We usually go for the combination platters, and we’ve never been let down.
