The Cove - Waterford

My first visit to the Cove was superb. A busy week day evening we still were welcomed and a table was arranged. A varied menu of tapas and traditional main courses were on offer. We opted for tapas as starters and the mains. Each dish was superb, excellently presented and wonderfully tasteful.

A superb bar restaurant. Great food and excellent staff. Today we had the lamb stew turkey. Both excellent. We shared a sticky toffee pudding and washed down with tea.

We visited over the bank holiday weekend for tapas drinks. Tom has a great setup. Making sure that there are no queues at the toilets redirecting patrons to the toilets upstairs. All the staff were very attentive, we didn’t have to get their attention even once. They made sure to keep our drinks replenished. The food was really lovely. There was a really nice atmosphere despite covid rules. All in all we had a really nice evening will definitely return again when I’m visiting next Also, special thank you to all the staff for wearing face coverings making us feel safe Well done
