Valley Truck Stop Deli - Waterbury

Good basic food at a fair price. Really cool staff and I found the quality to be good a short walk from the TA so I will be back lol.

La Famiglia Deli is my preferred sandwich spot. I visit twice a week with some of my coworkers. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly.

BE PREPARED FOR A BIG MEAL! I was forewarned when I ordered the large grinder. I thought I had a big appetite because I hadn't eaten all day. I thought, "Don't overhype it!" But there was no hype at all - they serve real, hearty grinders! I fell asleep after eating just half of it, and four hours later, I still couldn't finish the second half. These are huge grinders for a great price, and I also enjoyed their brownies. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here every day for lunch! La Famiglia has the best staff and food, so don't miss out on this place!

The restaurant is lovely, but it is unfortunate that the owner's son has passed away. May he rest in peace.
