Wonderful server. Excellent traditional menu. Salads included with entree. Chicken Parmesan perfect. Drinks very reasonable. Make a reservation.

Great food, the eggplant parm was delicious and not overwhelmed with cheese. And the cannolis were just the right kind of sweet. Waitresses was very attentive and service was quick. Highly recommend.

When inquiring as to vegan friendly options the employee who answered the phone not only lacked the general menu knowledge to answer but ensured me that no one on staff would be able to help me. In the year 2024 how do we not know what vegan means when working in the food industry? And how aren 't we ensuring at least one menu item for vegan individuals? Was looking to book an 8 people reservation and decided to go elsewhere.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan are not the same.Dietary restrictions: Nothing for vegan individuals.

Vegetarian options: The host that picked up the phone was so uneducated. I called with the intention of making a pick-up order and inquired if they have vegan options. She said she’s not sure what constitutes a meal as vegan. I asked her to possibly transfer me to someone that did know. She said she’s pretty positive that nobody in the restaurants knew, including the chefs. I said, The chefs aren’t knowledgeable on what makes a dish vegan or not? She said, No. I helped her understand what makes a dish vegan simplified : no animal derived products. Still, she wasn’t able to help me on what dishes the restaurant provides that don’t have these ingredients, she seemed so utterly confused. Ridiculous and sad.

I've been nothing but pleased when visiting San Marino! I live quite far from Waterbury, so when in town, it's a treat I look forward to. Most recently, with a party of 7, I enjoyed another well executed meal. From the house-made bleu cheese dressing, to the perfectly al dente pasta, to the scrumptious Xango for dessert, I was, yet again, impressed. Not to mention, the prices are more than reasonable! I was actually quite surprised by the low total. And I can't forget our server, Jamie. She was patient, polite and attentive. She was knowledgeable and very helpful regarding our questions of the menu. Also, our drinks stayed full, boxing was provided and the overall service was top notch. Kudos Jamie! Thank you for another great dining experience San Marino!
