Basil Ginger - Wasilla

A wonderful friend and I dinned there for lunch. We both had sushi rolls that were delicious. The atmosphere was a little loud but quieted down after a certain table of immature individuals left. The prices are reasonable and the service satisfactory. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual dining out. Cheers

The food was overly ‘sauced’, overly sweetened( Most flavorings are there to enhance the flavor of whatever you add it too. )The sauce was all you could taste and it was sweet. The greeter and wait staff was really nice , and there was a good atmosphere . I wouldn’t go back though.

When we first walked in... we noticed the cleanliness. Not a speck of dust or a smudge anywhere. The lighting and architecture was cool. Had a unique look for Wasilla. The hostess was very kind and prompt. We had to wait a few minutes for a table to open, which was a good sign that the restaurant was full. After we sat, our servers were attentive and seemed to be well diversified in their knowledge of the food and our needs. The menu was fun to look over and the food was delicious. We had the ahi, spring rolls, and several other Asian fusion dishes that were specials from the kitchen. We will defiantly be going back. Often The server mentioned they are opening a new restaurant in Eagle River soon. Lime Leaf, we are excited to go there too!

Edit: Customer service was top notch, environment was very clean, and the food came out quick Vegetable fried rice was mushy. Sushi rice was warm. One of the sushi rolls with shrimp still had all of the tails. Good presentation but I'm just being picky saying it was a pain to try and peel them off without ruining the roll Originally I rated this a star experience because of the mediocre food quality. I'm hoping that was just a time deal and am willing to try again based on the customer service and the owner truly caring about the reputation of the business Cheers!

Just had dinner with some friends and coworkers here, and it was a great experience. It was busy, but the atmosphere was pleasant, the decor was beautiful, the servers were on top of everything for the most part and very kind, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a great time, and I will for sure be planning future dinners here.
