Tartufo - Washington, D.C.

One of the undiscovered gems of Tenleytown! The food was excellent and I do not believe I have ever been in the restaurant when the owner is not present. The attention and love comes through in the food and genuine care felt.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced, especially when compared to other Italian restaurants nearby. Despite being severely understaffed and having some items missing from the menu, the overall experience was still excellent. I will definitely be coming back again.

I highly recommend this restaurant! It is the best place in Washington D.C.

My friends and I had dinner at Tartuffo on Thursday evening, December 14, 2023. Once again, the food was fantastic, the service was warm, friendly, and professional, and the ambiance was elegant yet cozy. We savored the soup of the day, Arugula salad, garlic bread, chicken pasta, salmon, tiramisu, chocolate mousse cake, and a bottle of Multipulciano red wine. Peggy and Pat Fleming.

Tartufo is a great place of you’re looking to go out for an intimate date night! My spouse and I went there last night for the first time, and the food, service, and prices were all excellent! We really enjoyed their spinach and artichoke ravioli special, and we highly recommend supporting this family-owned business.
