Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is not your typical Italian spot serving chicken parm, meatballs, and lasagna. It stands out from the rest with its unique and delicious offerings. The menu is minimal but includes a wide variety of pastas with inventive sauces and flavorful entrees. The Lamb with almond honey and the Pappardelle with Veal Ragu were especially delicious. The desserts were also fantastic. The setting is intimate, casual, and romantic. Overall, a great place to dine and enjoy something different from the usual Italian fare.
The restaurant has been closed for weeks. We were not informed until we arrived for our reservation.
When we arrived, no one was there. We went to the restaurant and it was dark without anyone being able to help us. it was obviously closed for the evening, but with it in a hotel, apparently the staff of the reception had no idea that it was not open for dinner. apparently no one has pointed out that we had a reservation for this evening. they told us to sit and they would find the restaurant staff to serve us, but we just went because who wants to eat in a completely empty restaurant that was obviously prepared for the next days breakfast?
Good place for a pre-concert meal. interesting set-up for a hotel restaurant; but it was a bit like eating fine kitchen in a cafeteria environment. the food was worth the price, and the service was top-notch, but the rest of the experience was strange.
The food in this restaurant was tasteless and poorly prepared. I had a beet salad in which the beets were frozen literally and was served with a sweet raspberry dressing rather than the lemon dressing indicated not a good combo. My husband, who very rarely complains about anything, thought his shrimp scampi was the worst he has ever had no taste, no seasoning, no sauce of any kind. My short ribs were not fall off the bone but rather tough. We picked this restaurant because of its proximity to the Kennedy Center. We will never go back.
