Bidrage med feedbackMake a reservation before showing up on the weekend, this place was packed. Luckily we got 2 seats at the bar and the bartenders were awesome. They recommended a Japanese whiskey flight which was pretty cool. We got spicy edamame to start, and honestly can’t recall the name of the rolls but one was topped with steak which was an interesting twist to this Japanese Peruvian mash up. In my opinion the rolls had too much rice, and they didn’t serve with any wasabi. I can’t say the sushi blew me away but honestly the bar, service and environment made a perfect date night.
Really fun cuisine and flavors of the fusion come together in a really interesting way. Been here a few times and am usually pretty impressed with the quality compared to other sushi I have had in the area. Will have to come back to try Waygu since they were out this time. Lomo Saltado roll was savory but not too heavy. I also enjoyed that most of the rolls already had some spice and were really well balanced. Cocktails are also awesome. Highly recommend their Pisco drinks you can’t really go wrong. Service was attentive and made sure to check in frequently.
This places is absolutely beautiful loved the location away from M st. but still close enough to go walk around or go shopping after a meal. Food was plated nicely. Service was good.I did have high hopes for the miso soup but was a tad bit salty for my liking. Over all would definitely be coming back to try more item on the menu.
Great spot I like to frequent every now and then after I get off work. Food is great as well as the bartenders especially Georgi. Very attentive and personable, he always takes care of your every need. Can’t say enough good things about this spot, highly recommend if you’re in the Georgetown area.
Susheria was incredible! The service was prompt and our server was incredibly kind and helpful. We couldn’t decide what options we wanted so we got a few, based on our servers recommendation. The veggie goyza were welll-cooked, the tuna tatami was well-prepared. We tried a few nikkei rolls: the okabe (just a touch spicy, sweet and tasty! ; the volcano (delicious crab meat and generous portions ; chicha spicy (fantastic tempura and salmon! . For our mains, we got the Tofu Eggplant Nikkei bowl and lomo saltado. The portions were fantastic for the price and we had to take them mostly home! This was a fantastic date night and we hope to be back to try their summer menu!
