Cafe Divan - Washington DC

The food was delicious, and I would absolutely return to this restaurant. It's a bit on the small side, which adds to its charm. My only issue was that they charged us for water, which felt a bit stingy since they only provided a plastic bottle.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, but they don't offer free water—only bottled water, which had flies in it. That’s not acceptable for a café where the average dish costs $25. However, I highly recommend their Turkish coffee; it’s amazing! I found the kebab to be a bit too dry for my liking.

Absolutely delicious! Don't miss the best Turkish cuisine in Washington, DC. The food is incredible, with fresh ingredients and the chefs' signature dishes truly standing out. The customer service is top-notch, scoring a perfect 10/10. The restaurant features two inviting atmospheres indoors, complemented by pleasant chill music and perfectly regulated air conditioning for the summer. There's also an outdoor area where you can enjoy the lovely weather. I adore the views; the restaurant's unique triangular design adds a romantic touch, making it a perfect setting for great conversations with friends or a special date. Overall, a fantastic experience!

This place is unsanitary and the food is below average. Menu is misleading. I ordered a Turkish bfast plate, and the items on the menu don't match what s on the plate. Sugar bowl was dirty. Plates had stain and the seats were gross... Food crumbles we're sticking out between the edges of the seat and sticky stains were all over. Portions were extremely stingy and they sell the water don't have tap water....what kind of place doesn't have free water? And of course female hair

I have eaten here multiple times because I love their Shish Kofte Sandwich. However, I recently ordered (through Postmates) that sandwich and the raspberry chocolate cake and I encountered the worst thing inside the cake. THERE WAS MOLD INSIDE. Please check your refrigeration system and disinfect it properly because this is beyond disgusting and not sanitary at all. Otherwise, I see the restaurant close down in the next few months for not meeting sanitary standards.
