Bidrage med feedbackOne thing praise worthy of Victoria Harbor Cafe’s food is the quality of ingredients used. Huge shrimps. Fresh prawns. Tender fish and pork meat. Perfectly cooked Jasmine Rice. Steamed Chicken Feet with Black Bean Sauce I was surprised on the first taste of the sauce. Boom! It’s spiciness travels down your throat and jumps back through your nose. Not your usual Chicken Feet from the chinese restaurant downtown. This one’s worth the wait. Crispy Prawn with Cheese Beancurd Roll a bit odd for a chinese dimsum to be served with cheese. But the flavor came out great. It comes with sweet chili sauce. The beancurd roll is so thin but not crispy enough (timing difference in serving the dish, I guess) Crispy Noodles with Seafood it has pork, black mushrooms, huge shrimps, carrots, and bok choy. The sauce is not salty unlike other chinese restaurant’s. Just perfect! The noodles was served a bit chewy already (again, maybe the timing difference in serving) Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet the fish fillet is tender and the sweet and sour sauce is reminiscent of old school sweet and sour cooked by Ahma (chinese for grandma). The rice has enough serving to fill you up. It just looks a bit sad, though, missing the usual pineapple tidbits/onions/carrots sidings. Giving a 4 star rating only for the fact that our orders arrived a bit cold already. I am assuming it took staff a bit longer to serve the food (the timing difference in serving I was talking about). But for the taste and quality of ingredients, I give a 5 star.
I was amazed and surprised with their food. Interior Design was superb. Service was great and the people working their was super polite and friendly. Amazing!
Why I love the beehon, the spam breakfast and the porridge. The beehon is my favorite as it reminds me so much of the authentic singapore style one.
My partner and I were staying at the Remington Hotel overnight during connection flights. We didn't want to travel far for dinner, and we didn't want to pay a fortune. We looked up surrounding Chinese cuisines and came across this. The food was beautiful. The dim sims were tasty however the rice dishes portions weren't very large. That would be my only disappointment. The service was good. The staff were polite and courteous, and the place itself had a nice ambience.
My friends and I really enjoy dining here at Victoria Harbour Cafe. This place has good service and good food. Last time we dined here was last February 8, Chinese New Year. I ordered the one thing I always order from this establishment Stewed Eggplant with Minced Pork (250 PhP . I could do without ordering anything else. It's best eaten with plain rice, sweet chili Victoria Harbour's House Tea. I shared this dish with my bestfriend, who is also a big fan of Stewed Eggplant and Minced Pork. We'll definitely come back soon. :
