Wiseguy Pizza - Washington

This is the only NY style pizza in the DMV that I would highly recommend and keep going back for. The toppings of veggies and vegan meatballs are also delicious.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after watching a baseball game at the stadium. I was in search of some vegan food and most places were either closed or crowded. I stumbled upon this pizza place while walking to my car and was happy to discover they had vegan options. They offer both slices and whole pies, with a variety of options to choose from. I tried their vegan supreme pizza and it was delicious. The service was friendly and I will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. If you have any food allergies, be cautious. Some pizzas are labeled as vegan, but actually have dairy cheese. I learned this the hard way. The staff knew about the mistake but didn't seem to care. I got very ill after eating here. It makes me wonder what other non-vegan ingredients were in the food.

The vegan supreme is a good vegan pizza. It has lots of toppings including vegan meat and all of the essential veggies, and it is a very good crust and sauce.

You 'll get a pretty big pizza for about $30 here. The slices are huge 1 slize is about the size of 2 regular pizza slices. They recently started carrying 3 vegan pizzas, a traditional (marinara sauce) Supreme, a White (garlic sauce) Supreme, and a BYO vegan pizza option. The Supreme and White Supreme are the same price. BYO starts at $21 and you have to pay a few dollars per topping. I tried the traditional Supreme. It was really good. The vegan meat on the Supreme pizza is a ground beef or sausage type style. Overall, I enjoyed the pizza. They did go too heavy on the vegan cheese, and it was well melted. I wish there had been more sauce as I like a lot of marinara. The chili peppers added a great spice to the pizza. I 'd definitely go back to try the White Supreme style next time to compare the two.
