The Coffee - Washington

I’ve been coming here since I moved to DC last year and it’s still my favorite place to linger on the weekends. I always feel welcomed and meet the most amazing people! If you’re a ??‍ ?️‍?interested in a safe space to connect with others this is the place.Food: 5/5

Great coffee and a lovely atmosphere. Although they got our order wrong, we still enjoyed what we received. Food: 4/5.

**Cons:** There weren't many small bites available. It was a bit noisy inside due to the music, and the granola was served separately from the yogurt.

NO WI-FI!!!! No Wi-Fi, no Wi-Fi. Reconsider if you need Wi-Fi to get a little work done at this cute spot. Friendly baristas, smooth service, but their latte tasted bland, all the milk but not enough espresso or the roast wasn't suitable. Cute outdoor area, but for the price paid for the mediocre coffee and no Wi-Fi, sorry, not the top choice.

This place is very popular with locals, so if you're heading during a peak time, be prepared to wait 20 30 minutes for your order. There are a variety of coffee based drinks available as well as some pastries (although I didn't see the prices of those posted anywhere). My hot latte was good, although not the best I've ever had. My main gripe with this place is the expense. For what they are charging, I would expect near perfection. Instead, we were met with just solidly good drinks. I don't know if we will make another trip out of our way to revisit The Coffee Bar, but we might consider stopping by if we were in the area and needed some caffeine.Parking: There is some street parking in the neighborhood, but you might have to drive around a little bit to find a spot.
