Stachowski Market Deli - Washington

This restaurant is incredible! I really enjoyed the local atmosphere, with people coming in to pick up ingredients for their dinners. You can tell a place is great when you spot chefs shopping there! The sandwiches are enormous, satisfying, and absolutely delicious. I tried the grinder, and it was undoubtedly one of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted—just the right amount of spice, fresh vegetables, tasty deli meats, all piled onto flavorful bread. It's definitely worth a visit—come hungry or be prepared to take leftovers home or share with a friend!

Small yet loaded spot with options and a friendly and informative staff. They make the sandwiches fresh and fairly promptly which end up being absolutely delicious and packed full, exactly what a deli sandwich should be. I have tried the dip, pastrami, and a couple others and all are amazing. Beware though that the sandwiches are sizable (I love that personally but you might want to split one with another person or just space it out), when I first got mine I was pleasantly surprised by the heft. I always make sure to make a stop if I'm in the area and highly recommend.

Great quality, super friendly staff and the pastrami sandwich will change your life. Parking is a bit of a pain but worth the hassle

One of the best sandwich shops in DC! Be warned: they're gigantic so you could easily split or be prepared to save for leftovers. Highly recommend !!!!

Great selection of unique grocery needs, but the sandwiches are next level. Massive portion sizes (not cheap, but worth every penny). Great staff. I'll go out of my way to treat myself to sandwiches here. Especially the dipped Italian Beef, the pastrami, and the Italian grinder.
