Stachowski Market Deli - Washington

Small yet loaded spot with options and a friendly and informative staff. They make the sandwiches fresh and fairly promptly which end up being absolutely delicious and packed full, exactly what a deli sandwich should be. I have tried the dip, pastrami, and a couple others and all are amazing. Beware though that the sandwiches are sizable (I love that personally but you might want to split one with another person or just space it out), when I first got mine I was pleasantly surprised by the heft. I always make sure to make a stop if I'm in the area and highly recommend.

Best pastrami sandwich I've had. Lots of juicy, flavorful pastrami between three slices of rye. Fantastic meat to bread ratio for those that love meat. Girlfriend thinks there's too much meat but she's wrong. Potato salad was phenomenal. Will be back for more!

Great quality, super friendly staff and the pastrami sandwich will change your life. Parking is a bit of a pain but worth the hassle

I traveled from Northwest DC downtown to Georgetown to try this deli. I asked for the grinder sub and a club sandwich. I asked for the sub to be on the softest sub roll they had. They ended up putting my sub on four slices of bread meaning two (2) sandwiches. I Did not like that. Maybe someone would it should've check with me before they prepared my order, as I was standing right there. I Will not be back.

One of the best sandwich shops in DC! Be warned: they're gigantic so you could easily split or be prepared to save for leftovers. Highly recommend !!!!
