Solomon Seafood - Washington

For my meal, my wife chose a single crab cake accompanied by hush puppies and French fries, while I opted for seared scallops served with broccoli and a Caesar salad. Though I typically don't enjoy broccoli, I found their preparation to be delightful. The scallops were perfectly seared and wonderfully seasoned. The crab cake was filled with generous chunks of crab and was absolutely delicious.

This restaurant has really lost its charm. The staff were rude and inattentive, and the food was simply terrible—bland and overpriced. When we mentioned the lack of flavor, the server just laughed and walked away. After settling the bill, we asked to speak with a manager and waited for five minutes without anyone coming to address us. As we were leaving, the hostess confronted my date, claiming we hadn't paid. The situation escalated due to her erratic behavior, so we insisted on speaking to a manager. A relative of the owner came out but only made things worse by throwing around accusations and pointing fingers. As we exited, the "manager" yelled at us from the restaurant entrance. This has been a disappointing experience overall. I used to really enjoy this place.

A cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was excellent. I'm certain we'll return.

Great pasta and seafood dish. Open restaurant with plenty of parking. Friendly staff. I loved my shrimp and scallop pasta with sun dried tomatoes with Swiss char. A great dish with everything I wanted and plenty of food. The fried shrimp tacos with mango were also very good.

Good food I had the seafood platter. Very tasty. My wife had garlic shrimp..Very good as well. Service was great...very attentive. Lemon cake and cheesecake for desert...both very fresh, tasty and light.
