Bidrage med feedbackTotally worth every penny. I haven’t gone to many Michelin restaurants, but this has to be my pick for the best value out of the ones I’ve been to so far. Every course was delicious and rich with many layers of different flavors and texture that surprised us with how well it all blended together. We honestly did not have anything we didn’t love, but the Hong Kong style warm pineapple buns was the most mind-blowing favorite for us. I would literally buy a dozen from the restaurant if that was possible (and I don’t even like pineapple buns that much! . Service was amazing, vibe was cozy and more intimate. 100% would recommend for a date night or special occasion celebration. Being European, I was attracted to this restaurant as it was featured in the Michelin guide (1 star and was not disappointed! Although the general look and feel of the place could, at first sight, pass for a hipster cum university place, the food was truly remarkable and the service was to match. Not on the cheap side (but perhaps my choosing a $100 chardonnay bottle didn't help , but certainly an experience I'll remember (in particular the starters with kimchi oil and just the right chilly heat! . The food was absolutely delicious and every one of the staff were attentive and amazing. The atmosphere is bustling and lively, albeit a little loud. There are several choices for each course, and I want to try them all. You can add any item to your meal for $10 but we were stuffed from the 4 courses and drinks.
Such a great dining experience! Every dish was delicious and the service was exceptional. You get plenty of food we added on several dishes (everything sounded too good to choose! , but we would have been very comfortably full with 4 courses each. Can?t recommend this place enough!
For the prices, this is the best Michelin-starred restaurant in DC. I loved the decor in the inside of a small intimate restaurant with bookshelves throughout. We were give a four course menu, with four selections to chose from on each course for a total of $85 per person. Every selection was delicious, but even better is the fact that you can add a selection for only $10. I also like how they serve each selection in the middle of the table for guests to share. They
