Pizzolis - Washington

I looked at my delivery options in the late night and ordered me a vegan veggie pizza on grubhub. it has not chased me the head, and it was an expensive little pizza (approximately $23 with fees and tips), but I guess that the option was available. poking around their menu, they also do pastas that can have vegan cheese. four stars for filling a niche that does not meet any other DC pizza shop (to my know!) but if they want a great vegan pizza, I would go to

This cute little pizzeria was right next to our accommodations during our stay in DC, so we knew we had to give it a try. After an afternoon of walking through some museums on a rainy day we came home quite famished and headed straight over for a bite to eat. Once inside we were told the slices are quite large, so we only ordered one to share for our family of four. They were very accommodating with our topping requests and we had ordered the pizza to go. Boy were they right to only order one slice! They cut the single slice into four portions and it fits inside a medium sized box. We quickly ran it home to eat and it hit just the right spot. The sauce was superb and it had a good amount of cheese to satisfy the soul. Dough was a little bit boring, but didn't ruin the overall experience. I would return again if I had the late night munchies.

This place is trash. Beware! They were out of certain menu items. Had to come outside for me to remind them of what my order was. Complete $hit $how. Plenty of better places around the area.

The pizza was so good! Got a large Alfredo and large hanger buster and was great for 5 people. Would come here again.
