It offers the best price-quality ratio I've encountered in all the places I've lived in the US and Europe. The attention to detail is impressive too—love the flower presentation! I absolutely love this place! The Asian food is delicious and always fresh, never overcooked. If you're watching your carbs, you can request that your entree be served with a side of broccoli. Just ask, and they'll accommodate you!

Just a quick note from a recent visit: if your bill is under $10 and you pay with a credit card, there’s an extra 50 cent charge. I went last night and sat at the only outdoor table, and overall I thought the food was quite good. I ordered wonton soup, chicken chow fun, Szechuan green beans, and drunken noodles. The drunken noodles with chicken and the chicken chow fun were really similar, so I would probably recommend sticking with the chow fun next time.

Isshin Asian Bistro is the successor to the much loved, former Wok and Roll restaurant, located on the same street. The name and venue have changed, but, the food is still the excellent Chinese, Japanese and Asian fare very fairly priced as before. Sushi and sashimi are always very fresh and rolls are delicious. Chinese dishes are similarly great. Isshin is one of the best bargains in an increasingly expensive D.C. restaurant market. I hope that Isshin eventually obtains a liquor license, so I can support them by buying sake and beer with my take out orders.

My go to place for Asian food with great service, fast delivery in the neighborhood and economical weekday lunch specials. I especially love the stir fried green beans, hot and sour soup, rock shrimp tempura, Thai chicken, general Tao tofu, sushi, and beef lo mein. They do a lot of take away business but have some tables inside, and a table or two on the sidewalk in nice weather. Highly recommend.
