North Gate Grill - Washington

I ordered from the menu and eating was very good with the eggs posing as desired. the service was excellent.

A nice surprise to get such a good meal in an unknown hotel restaurant. a great and inexpensive option

I like north gate grill for business dinner because of its ambiente, good menu choice and excellent service. the restaurant is usually a simple place to get a table and a simple place for talks. it fills up when the hotel (capital hilton) hosts a conference, but otherwise is spacious and open with a very pleasant street view of the 16th street nw from large windows that fill the dining room with light. the menu has salads and sandwiches that I have almost always found to be well prepared and delicious. many of the servers have been there for some time.

This was a business lunch with an out-of-town vendor hosting us after our business meeting. They were pleased at the location; we were able to walk. The food was delicious, the setting was very comfortable, uncluttered and elegant without being stuffy.

Always great and friendly service at the North Gate.
