Kfc - Washington

Whenever we order the Family Meal from the KFC in Washington, MO, the chicken tends to be very old and seems like it has been left in the warmer for hours. This has happened consistently during our visits. The chicken is both greasy and dry, and unfortunately, one of us even became sick after eating it.

I placed an online order with a 30-minute pickup time. When I arrived at the scheduled time, the lobby was closed. I ended up waiting 20 minutes in the drive-thru to get my meal. Considering what I spent, I could have enjoyed a decent meal at a local sit-down restaurant instead of receiving a lukewarm main dish with cold sides.

This was my first visit to this location in Washington, MO. I had heard about the previous sanitation issues and shutdowns, but I was really craving fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed the negative reviews—this place lives up to its reputation. It’s disappointing that Washington, MO, lacks other fast food fried chicken options, like Church's or Popeye's, which probably contributes to this place staying in business despite its many flaws.

Their air conditioner was not working well and the place felt hot. It could use a very good cleaning, and some smiles... The food was okay.

So I've never actually had a positive experience at this KFC. They've gone through multiple owners and they keep being terrible, I think it's cursed. I tried to order a bunch of chicken tenders through online ordering. So the app said to go inside and pickup my food. Doors were locked. I go through the drive-thru and they tell me that they Don't do online orders despite clearlyknowing about my order and they can't tell me anything about the purchase that I tried to make on Google pay if it would gothrough or not and they were closing earlier than they're posted hours and couldn't help me.
