Here's The Scoop! - Washington

This was our second visit, and we made it a priority to return during our summer trip this year because our first experience was fantastic. The cake was moist, the beef patties were among the best I’ve ever had, and the ice cream was fresh and creamy. However, I was disappointed with the milkshakes. One of my daughters ordered the Cookies and Cream, while the other chose S’mores since the Birthday Cake was unavailable. They both felt that the milkshakes didn't "taste right," and after I tried them, I noticed an odd, burnt aftertaste. It almost tasted like there was something wrong with the blender, as though the motor was malfunctioning and affecting the flavor. It was a bit disheartening since I spent $60 for our family during our visit from Hampton, Virginia. Thankfully, everything else was delicious. Just a bit of constructive feedback—I'll definitely return for the ice cream and other treats!

Absolutely the best ice cream I've ever had, hands down! While I might not recall the names of the flavors, I can never forget the incredible combinations of strawberry, raisins, rum, and that wonderfully chunky banana pudding—oh yes! The service was fantastic, and I was recommended the waffle bowl for three scoops, which was a perfect choice. My daughter opted for just the bowl for her three scoops. We also sampled a variety of other options, including their beef patty, which was excellent. I will definitely be back!

Cute little ice cream shop with a variety of flavors and friendly staff. A welcome spot on a warm summer evening. Next time, I'm going to get a cookie sandwich!
