Love love! elife restaurant has been a vegan company in takoma park since 1995! You've read that right. elife serves delicious plant-based soul food.

I will give it 2 stars because I really believe that the owners were on purpose there. that was my first visit to this restaurant as we are new in maryland.

This restaurant serves incredible vegan dishes that vary daily. The food is rich in flavor and well-seasoned. A must-try are the wings, which taste very similar to real chicken and are always a hit. The greens are consistently tender, and the vegan mac and cheese is exceptional. They have mastered the art of creating cheese substitutes. The staff is always friendly and great to chat with. Their vegan desserts are also delightful. We make sure to come back every few months.

Delicious, tasty, well seasoned comfort food, 100% vegan, great customer service. Moderate prices, satisfying portions.
