St Nicholas Park Tearooms - Warwick

I went to this restaurant with some friends for lunch. The food was simple but good value, and it arrived quickly and hot. The service was efficient and friendly.

I have visited the tearooms on several occasions and on every occasion I have been impressed with both the quality of food and the service. The coffee is quality on certainly not the run of the mill coffee served at many large company establishments. I found it hard not to have another slice of the amazing cake with my drinks . On another occasion my hot food was plentiful and very tasty. Thanks to the great and friendly staff . I’ll be back soon

After taking my black lab for a walk and filling up her water bowl twice, I entered the restaurant to ask for a refill and to grab an ice cream. The manager, who appeared to be older and was helping a new employee, abruptly refused to fill the bowl with tap water for my dog, stating that she would be too busy if she had to give water to every dog there. Despite the busy atmosphere, I found this response to be cold-hearted, especially considering the hot weather. I had to ask a nearby resident to fill the bowl for me instead. I suggest the restaurant consider installing an outdoor tap for customers with pets and work on improving their customer service for the sake of returning customers.

Similar to other reviews mentioned here, the manager attempted to push us out of the cafe because our young children (ages 1 and 4) were eating their own snacks, despite the fact that we had already purchased three meals and drinks for the adults. This behavior was completely out of line and incredibly disrespectful. Additionally, the food service was quite slow, which was a separate issue that also impacted our overall experience.

Such great service from this cafe. They are always busy and the staff are polite. Great service. The home made in soup is my favourite!
