This authentic Italian restaurant has tweaked their menu to suit local tastes, distinguishing itself from typical chain eateries. The food is outstanding, with a nice variety of affordably priced wines available. The veal I tried was cooked perfectly (medium rare), and my wife's fish dish was equally tasty. The portion sizes are just right, allowing for the addition of side dishes without feeling overwhelmed. The staff is friendly and well-informed. The service was a bit swift for my liking - I would have appreciated more time to savor my cocktail and pause between courses, but that's just a personal preference. We will definitely return to dine here again.

A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes in menu style to meet local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food and a rather extensive and not overpriced wine list. My calf was perfectly boiled (pink), like my wife's fish. The portion sizes are appropriate, so don't be afraid to order a few secondary dishes. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too fast for my taste, I would have waited a little longer to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but this is a lot of personal preference. We will certainly return.

My friends and I recently visited Sorrento's for the first time during our second visit to Stratford in over 20 years. We meet up once a year and all enjoy Italian restaurants. Sorrento's exceeded our expectations. Despite one of our friends having dietary restrictions, the staff handled it quickly and efficiently. The black linguine with scallops was particularly amazing and highly recommended. Each of us ordered something different from the menu and everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we will definitely be returning on our next visit.

We made a reservation at Sorrento for our 6th anniversary dinner. Upon our arrival, we were greeted promptly and our coats were taken. Every staff member we encountered smiled and welcomed us to the restaurant. The service was attentive, with a great selection of food options. The quality, taste, and value of the food was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster tail risotto, while my partner's steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare. The little touches like offering water, drinks, and coffee after the meal made it feel like a fine dining experience. As we left, each person we passed thanked us and wished us a good evening. It was a pleasant and welcoming experience, and we have decided to make it a tradition to visit Sorrento for our anniversary each year. We will definitely be returning.
