Lady Bay Restaurant - Warrnambool

We had a lovely meal at Lady Bay Restaurant.The service was very good. The food great, try the risotto with mushrooms and blue cheese...Yum My Hb steak was tasty and tender he says. I wish that I had room for dessert...maybe next time.The prices were definitely reasonable.

Lady Bay Restaurant offers a quality menu along with good service and cold beer. Evening dining presents a warm environment and a ranges of choices. Clean, warm facility with great service.

We were a table of 4 on a Saturday night. While restaurant was less than half full, a wedding and separate birthday function kept staff on their toes but they coped well. Good menu selection plus specials with ok wine choice by glass or bottle. All meals satisfied and considered good portion sizes. Would happily dine here again.

Loved our meal when we dined there. The oysters were large and tasty and the main meals superb. Could not finish my stuffed and wrapped chicken breast on mash with broccolini, with beans and extras. The rack of roasted lamb was pink and delectable too. This place just oozes quality!

I came here last month with my friend for dinner, it was somewhere neither of us had tried, but had been recommended by our work colleague, also I had previously heard good things from other people.I rang and booked a table just in case, even though it was mid-week – and I probably could of gotten away without booking , but it was quite busy.The service is very good, the waiters are attentive but not in a pestering away, and the seating & atmosphere is more formal than a casual ‘pub’ dinner. The menu has good variety, which I like, as I can be quite fussy, and I have to say it is not cheap , definitely more on the expensive side of places to eat in Warrnambool. The food is worth the extra dollars I have to admit, the presentation is good, and the portion size is equally as good. There is nothing worse than paying more for a smaller portion of food in my opinion. I had the special on that night which was crumbed chicken breast stuffed with brie, with some greens and chat potatoes – the chicken breast was on steroids it was so big, and very juicy.I would come back here but probably for an occasion rather than just a night in the week.
