The Sunrise Cafe - WARRIEWOOD

Sunrise was for many years a lovely cafe with great food for both breakfast and lunch. Not any more... The food is very uninspiring, lots of leaves but very little of anything else. Everything toasted came out soggy or with no sign of a toaster being used. The coffee was cold and very milky.The staff were all young with a very poor work ethic. In fact they had lots of attitude they did not want to serve you and did not care if you did not returnWhat a shame that a cafe with such a great location has become so blasé about both their staff and food

The service at this restaurant is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The coffee is fantastic and the environment is very relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable and there is a wide variety of choices available.

On a sunny winters morning I dropped in to Sunrise Cafe for the first time, having driven past many times. In winter it was easy to get a table and the place was friendly with a definite "old school" beach cafe vibe. Which I liked a lot. I ordered my coffee and then the sunrise green bowl !! They had all the usual options on the menu and the prices seem very reasonable. My coffee arrived first and was great - nice and hot and nice and strong. Very well made. My meal arrived packed with healthy goodness - looked good and tasted really good. This isn't fine dining - it's old school beach style and hits the mark well. I enjoyed the paper and then went on my way - satisfied and certain I'll be back to try a beach Hamburger for lunch pretty soon.

My husband and I stopped at the Sunrise café for lunch on a lovely sunny day and really enjoyed the experience.The staff were friendly and helpful and prompt.We sat outside with some views of the beach, maybe they could trim the plants a little for a better view.Our meal was very tasty and the coffee of a high standard.
