Bidrage med feedbackThis place was pretty good. We had slow but nice service. It wasn't busy or anything, kind of early dinner time. Everything in the restaurant was clean. I ordered a Cobb salad, with no ham, bacon, or cheese. It was still filling and delicious. I just don't eat pork. My friend got a panini with turkey. It was average, but not bad. Prices are very fair. I would definitely return.
This was an amazing experience! We started with a fantastic wine tasting experience with the owner, vintner, Bob. We were shown the proper way to hold the stem of the glass to aerate the wine which enhanced the fruity scent. We tried 6 wines and 4 ports and they were all outstanding! It was very difficult to choose a favorite amongst the smooth, clean wine. Flavors burst in the mouth! Bob explained his process (uses only stainless steel, no wooden barrels), his vineyards and orchards, all local here in MO, and the many fruits like cherries and blackberries that enhance his special grapes. You could tell how much he loves what he creates and what a master he is at his craft. His eyes sparkled and joy emanates from him. The ports, fortified wine with brandy, were like Christmas in a bottle. There were 4... coconut, chocolate coffee, chocolate orange, and caramel. Our wallet was definitely lighter as we chose 8 luscious bottles to cherish at home. After the wine tasting we ate a late dinner. My Cobb salad was delicious with smoked ham and bacon, guacamole, shredded cheese, egg, and tangy green olives, unusual but I liked them!! My hubby had the Cuban Panini, a sweet shredded pork, with a pickle, and a side of macaroni salad which also contained bacon and wasn't the usual bland, boring he said, as bacon makes everything better! I also enjoyed a uniquely presented (see photo) flight of three 4-oz pours of some of my favs. We want to come here again and again! Thank you Bob and staff for an incredible evening!
My husband and I stopped by this gem of a place on impulse. We have rarely been so impressed. The service was impeccable. I had the blackberry chicken panning with pasta salad, which was amazing. I would never have thought to combine BlackBerry with chicken, but it was genius. My husband had the pulled pork panning and shared a bite. The best I have ever had. The owner, Bob, came out and introduced himself and took us through a wine tasting of his homemade wines. I don't believe I will get my wines anywhere else now. It was a great experience. I am happy to recommend Drerfield's on Main, and will most definitely return.
The Wood Fired pizza oven must be down. It appeared that they cooked our pizza crust on a panini press. Way too much cheese, and the onions weren 't cooked...who puts raw onion on a pizza? Over use of the the air fryer . And...nothing better than paying $2 for a can of soda...Great Value soda at that!
This was a great place to come after we had an amazing Cuban down the road. The sommelier was very knowledgeable on his products and very willing to help and talk to the customers.
