Farmer's Fridge - Warren Park

This fantastic vending machine is situated in the MAIN LOBBY of St. Vincent Hospital. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers for the recommendation! The sandwiches are excellent, making them perfect for a quick, healthy lunch or snack. Unfortunately, some of us may have family members who are seriously ill and spend several days in the hospital. As caregivers, it's essential to remember to take care of ourselves so we can better support our loved ones! I'm so glad Farmers Fridge is available in the hospital—it's a great alternative to the typical cafeteria food!

While checking the best by date, I noticed that my jars have a "donate by" date stamped on them. Curious about this, I visited their website and learned that any unsold jars are donated to local community pantries or shelters, while expired items are composted if they are compostable. You can choose to reuse the jars, recycle them, or return them to Farmer's Fridge for recycling. I plan to use a few for my homemade lunches and return the rest to the fridge. Regarding the location, I appreciate the clear directions to find the fridge, as it's slightly tucked away unless you're directly heading towards it. It would be wonderful if they could add a few more fridges throughout the hospital, especially one on the children’s hospital side.
