Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Warr Acres

I've only been here twice. Both times, it has been clean and put together. The first time was great, the employee checking me out was friendly and sociable, the smoothie was lovely. I went again today and wasn't greeted, everyone working there acted like I was an inconvenience. No one likes their job but you still have to put on a customer service face. Would give one star but the food is always great.

I was greeted with a “what you need?” At the register. I ordered a smoothie and watched them proceed to take a dirty lid out of a sink full of dishes where they just dumped a few more and give it a 1 second rinse with water then put it on the blender. Ive frequented this location for sometime now and its always seemed very poorly ran. It's probably time for me to move on. Very likely some health code violations here. Gross all around.

Pretty sick and tired of the only smoothie place on the block, Everytime you go into order the older lady wants to sigh and roll her eyes and be all mad we are in trying to buy a smoothie. Service is horrible and when you ask about foods you get no help. Probably not coming back. Sucks because i try to get a couple smoothies a week and I’m always buying for my coworkers.

The female staff was busy! Not much on communication. I did get what I asked for and left.

Tried an Acai bowl, hoping for fresh ingredients. Not fresh. Not even sure when it was prepped. Should have made the drive to Bondi or The Surf Bar.
