In the city for work and had lunch in the drake the steak sandwich was great one of the better ones I had. great service and beautiful price

I went to this restaurant on a Friday night while visiting Mandurah, and I was really impressed! I ordered the $15 steak with access to the salad bar. The portion size was good, although the steak was a little tough. However, for just a bit more than a burger and fries at a fast-food joint, it was a great deal. My dining partner had the reef and beef, which was cooked perfectly—no blood, just the way it should be. A good chef knows how to prepare a tender steak, and the quality of the beef was outstanding! It was $30 and a massive serving. Honestly, this has to be one of the cheapest and best meals in Western Australia; only a few restaurants on the east coast could compare. I'm originally from the east, so I can say this confidently. Drinks are priced like you'd expect at a bar. Just a heads-up, while it’s a country pub, the dining room does have a bit of a cheap, run-down vibe. Overall, I highly recommend giving it a try!

This place is a winner. The quality of the food is excellent and offers great value for money. It had the best chili lime I've ever tasted!

The food and service here are consistently excellent. I’ve visited multiple times and sampled nearly everything on the menu, and I’ve never had a bad meal or experience. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is really inviting too; the new furniture and decor look fantastic!
