Service good and very prompt but mixed feelings about the food. The entres were expensive at $16 for 3 fish tacos which put together was barely a mouthful of food. 6 wing pieces for $12 with chilli and a blue cheese sauce . The wings were tasteless but the sauces helped with flavour. However the chicken parmigiana for a mains was exceptionally good value and very tasty and the salt and pepper squid was one of the best I've had. Very tender and a generous serving. Overall a good experience and would come back again.

This is a great spot for post-work drinks or meeting up with friends. The dishes we saw being served to other tables looked delicious, so we are definitely considering coming back to try them ourselves. The fact that there are many regular customers indicates that the service is reliable and top-notch.

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. However, I believe we went at a busy time as there was only one woman taking orders and could have used some assistance from the other staff members. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would be happy to return.

I visited The Tavern last week and was impressed with the improvements that have been made. The food and beverages were excellent, the atmosphere was friendly, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I ordered the steak and Guinness pie and I have to say it was the best pie I have ever tasted.

Directly from the first phone call with louise, the lightness and help they and their personal page, bar staff and chef) gave me in organizing a 30-person function was sensational. the palette of plates was fantastic and one. reasonable price, the chef apologises to forget his name) went through the food and for our party size. eating the day was great and plentiful, page was great to ensure that the day went smoothly. the bar staff was attentive to all guests and in the ability to cope well, with sensational cocktails to pour a large selection of beer. thanks to all the staff on the day it was fantastic and made our day stress-free and very pleasant.
