Red Rooster - Waratah

The food is just average, the staff are young and keen and the service is fast, however the venue itself is a disgrace. The tables have the varnish peeling off and feel sticky to the touch. Many of the chairs have wonky legs. The toilets smell putrid and there is even a padbolt as a door catch on one cubicle. Given the condition of the public areas, one wonders about the areas that you cant see like the kitchen. I won't be back.

I paid a hefty price for kebabs at this restaurant. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The garlic sauce had no flavor and there was too much salad compared to sauce.

The overcooked chicken and stale fries were absolutely terrible. I was offered a canned drink and when I asked for a straw or a paper cup, I was rudely told they didn't have any. The quality of this restaurant used to be acceptable, but now it is very poor. I suggest staying away.

I ordered a kids meal with small chicken fingers, fried nuggets, a small hot dog, a water bottle, and small chips. I was surprised when I opened the box and found butter chicken instead of what I ordered. The portions were very small and not worth the high prices. This wasn't the first time I've been disappointed at this restaurant. I visit every week, but sometimes the staff are confused and slow. I won't be buying food from here anymore.
