Gatsby On The Ocean - Wantagh

I'm not sure where the debt is, but we have a reservation at Gatsby's for my 70th birthday on October 7th at 14 a.m., although we live in Westchester, I knew that was where I wanted to be on my 70th. the open table confirmed the reservation and then gave me twice to make sure we come. we drove from Westchester, came and found the restaurant closed. How did open table and gatsby allow me to make a reservation on a day when the restaurant was closed?

Drinks were ridiculously expensive. $17.50 for a martini plus a mysterious $1 open liquor charge. we asked for a drink menu and were told there were none, but they had a full cash and could do everything. not sure how this led to an up-priced. a lot of buggy if it's not a windy night. these mosquitoes were victorious.

Eating was good, but not amazing or something. it was a little overpriced for what you have. the waiting staff was very friendly and welcoming. the view of the sea was beautiful and soothing. I will most likely eat here again because of the excellent service and intention.

The setting is beautiful, everything else was fair. Waitress was sweet, but not enough staff. Fast food beach menu. Long waits. Dessert selection minimal. A waste of a lovely space.
