Emerald Thai - Wangaratta

Visited here with my partner without a booking on a very busy night. Staff made us feel welcome and fitted us in. The food and general service was of a good standard . Greatly enjoyed the experience.

I have been here about 3 times and each time tried different things and the only thing that tastes good is the friend rice. Everything else is bland. Best fried rice in wangaratta though and the service is really good.

Went there last night for a family dinner. Seated up back with a/com blowing over end of table.When you ordered your meals the staff took your name but I don't know why as the meals came out in no apparent order and no names were used to know who had ordered what.Sides of rice eventually came out to some of us after the main meals had been finished which was very bad as the sides were meant to go with the meals. My meal eventually came out (Oyster Duck) and it was nearly cold, didn't look very palatable and there vegetables were really hard. Wouldn't ever go there again

We ordered satay chicken skewers, spicy chicken and fried rice for take away the servings are good sizes although the skewers have shrunk in size over the years, good feed and quick service!

Terrible service, bad food. Ordered honey chicken, chicken was like a leather boot, sizzling beef - full of black pepper yet not mentioned on menu, it was inedible and the staff (including the boss) did not care and still charged full price! Rice was dry.Meals served in 2 mins obviously pre cooked and warmed up to serve. Will never return to this 'restaurant'!
