Bai Thong Thai - Wandana Heights

This restaurant has really gone off the boil. Once it was difficult to get a table on a Saturday night but last night less than half the restaurant was full. The bright, cheery waitresses have long gone and have been replaced by unsmiling staff that lack energy and cheer. Our meals were delicious but unfortunately the once lively ambience has disappeared. I've scored Very Good for the quality of our food.

We drive half an hour to get this thai on a regular basis. It is delicious! There is a real depth to the flavour of the dishes. Love their curry puffs! Be warned, they get busy so order early for take away.

The little dine in take-away used to be so good, food yummy, pleasant staff, regardless if you dine or take away. However of late our phone take away orders have been some what confusing, we inform them of our order and they process it through, we receive a phone call 10 mins later apologizing your meal is no longer available? Would you like to select something else. As they have already began prepping your food your placed into a situation for second best as an alternative. But now this is one step to far. Now when we call we ask if all items or nominated meal is available and the staff informs all meals are available tonight. Once again we receive a telephone call back apologizing our meals are no longer available tonight we ran out of it over the weekend. Don't your staff communicate to the chef before hand? I don't get it even after confirming still do you have that dish and yet you still said yes. You have just lost some very local regulars and that is your loss. You need to improve your service for us to return.

We have been here several times. Its a little pricier than some other Thai places in town, but the flavours are really great and some unique dishes available - better than the run of the mill. Love the stuffed squid

Ate here on a Sunday night, slow service initially. We stood in the doorway for a good three minutes unnoticed. Eventually we seated ourselves. The service from then on was great and staff were attentive. Only other problem it was quite cold inside because they do takeaway and people kept coming and going, opening the door. The food was amazing (always is, we've had takeaway several times before). Curries are beautiful. Price is reasonable - $170 in total for our group of 7 people. Would definitely eat here again.
