Waynapata Cafe Cultural - Wanchaq

Una de las cosas buenas descubiertas es Cusco fué este restaurant. La ubicación muy práctica, pues está muy cerca de la Plaza Mayor y sólo a unos pasos de nuestro hotel. Desde el primer día nos sorprendimos por la rica comida, lo acogedor del lugar, la calidez de Violeta (la dueña) y de quienes la acompañan en la atención, ...en general un servicio estupendo a un precio increíbleOfrecen un menú de comida casera cusqueña, comida a la carta y excelentes pizzas que hace Matias, maestro pizzero italiano en el horno de barro. Nosotros lo adoptamos casi como nuestra casa. Fuimos prácticamente todos los días al almuerzo o comida y siempre el resultado fué bueno.Su dirección es Calle Waynapata #275

This lovely cafe just a few blocks above the plaza de armas offers an excellent set lunch for 8 soles. This includes a soup, drink, choice of 3 mains, and dessert. The quality of the food is much better than other places at a similar price point and it is nearly impossible to find anything this affordable closer to the plaza. They also have great teas and a nice selection of travel books in multiple languages. My husband and I visited a handful of times during our 2 weeks in cusco and would highly recommend!

This lovely cafe was recommended to us by a fellow traveller in Cusco. The food was excellent and the environment beautiful. Not just the best value, as we had the menu del dia for 8 soles, but the nicest tasting also. Don't miss it!

My family and I had the pleasure of visiting Cusco and the surrounding area for three weeks this July. During the course of our vacation we tried many restaurants and we enjoyed Waynapata Café so much that we ate there many times. The food was excellent, the portions and prices just right, and the friendly atmosphere made us feel like coming back again and again. After a long day of sightseeing and enjoying this wonderful city, eating and relaxing at Waynapata Café was GREAT!
