Buddha's Corner Food Trailer - Wanaka

If they're in wanaka, they'll have to eat here! we have believed here on travel and asked about vegan options, just to find out all daily specialties were vegan! we have a veganized buddha box (with vegan naan! and it was a few of the best Indians I've ever had! the next day left because we couldn't get enough.

After reading a previous review, I decided to try the vegan Buddha Box at this restaurant. The staff was willing to accommodate my request and the dish was delicious. The portions were generous and the spices were excellent. The naan bread on the side was a nice addition. We also tried a noodle dish which was tasty, with fresh and crispy vegetables and flavorful seasonings. The only suggestion I have is for the restaurant to promote their vegan options more, as they are not immediately obvious on the menu, but definitely worth trying.

We initially intended to visit a different food truck, but ended up at Buddhas Corner because they had more appealing vegan options. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped explain which items on the menu were vegan. There were plenty of choices, including two daily specials. The food we tried was all delicious. We would definitely return. One suggestion for improvement would be to clearly label which menu items are vegan.

I was quite disappointed with the meal I had at the Spice Room. Despite being a good restaurant, the dish I ordered was simply microwaved for 2 minutes and was very average.
