Ashraf's - Wanaka

We had our first meal in Wanaka and arrived just before closing, but we were still greeted with wonderful service and outstanding food. We have no complaints about this place at all. It's charming, authentic, and absolutely delicious!

This fantastic little restaurant has been my go-to for years, and I still haven't found an Indian restaurant in New Zealand that compares! I highly recommend the korma, Kashmiri heddah, and sagwallah, as those are my personal favorites, but honestly, the entire menu is wonderful!

The authentic Kashmiri food is fantastic. It's such a joy to find a place like this. Every night, we enjoyed a variety of wonderful dishes. The menu was a delight, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Love this small family restaurant great food (best Indian in Wanaka by far) and excellent <br/ friendly service by owner/family. And it's quiet enough to talk!<br/ The review guidelines ask me to write more but what more could you want?<br/

We tried ashrafs for takeaway during our stay in wanaka. We also tried the spice room from a local recommendation. We are huge indian food fans and have tried alot of the best indian restaurants in christchurch. Ashrafs stands out as not only the best indian restaurant in wanaka, but possibly better than all the others we have ever tried. In our opinion ashrafs is the south islands best kept secret. Not rating 5 stars because we did not eat in.
