I have lived in Hanworth Village my entire life, and it's hard to believe that just a mile away in Lower Sunbury, there is a hidden gem called The Phoenix. The exterior of the restaurant doesn't do justice to the beautiful venue inside. The staff is excellent, the ambiance is perfect, and the garden overlooks the River Thames. Every visit to The Phoenix has been enjoyable, thanks to the exceptional food and reasonable prices. The hospitality and welcoming atmosphere make it a truly special place. If there was a 10-star rating, I would give it to this amazing pub. It is always busy, a testament to its popularity. The staff, including the chef, deserve all the compliments. The parking is easy and affordable, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, with the Sunday Roast, Tapas, and Chicken Satay being highly recommended. Families with kids will appreciate the kid-friendly environment.
