La Terraza - Walton-on-Thames

Was not here in years and was pleasantly surprised. delicious eating large portions and great worth for money.

At the entry we sat under tables full of family members who walk over each other, so that I and my partner were not able to talk much as we could not hear. we then got a menu that was just a small selection of food and not where on the website said it would be a set dinner. then we ordered our food that appeared forever and our drinks were forgotten. our starters arrived after 20 minutes and they were small but beautiful. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered the fish, we got a bowl veg and kartoffeln to share when it said that our meals were not shared with potatoes and veg and then they calculated us £162! I couldn't believe it! the food was nice, but the total experience and the price was a massive throw for silvester.

The restaurant was very busy. With the live music event, it’s noisy. But we enjoyed it as the atmosphere was good. We deliberately booked this date for live music. The food was as good as usual and it was freshly made. The Gambas pil-pil is a must have dish. It is very delicious.

Fabulous evening. Great atmosphere, you actually feel like you are in Spain! Service very good, attentive but not over bearing and very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the seafood paella for one and several tapas dishes. Every single dish was incredible. We can’t wait to go back
