Went to Sammy’s for our 32nd Wedding Anniversary. If you are looking for the Prime Rib special on Thursday nights, get their early. Also, be sure to say hi to James if he’s tending bar. He is an icon at the restaurant and has been there since they opened. We will be back. Loved it and James.

Absolutely the best Caesar salad I have ever had. Their take on it is called the Black Bleu Tenderloin Caesar and it was the best salad, hands down I have ever had. The gentleman behind the bar was great too, funny, genuine guy who makes great drinks.

This was an accidental side trip that turned out to be a place that we will definitely return to! It’s crazy the places you may miss within an hour of your home. This old home used to be part of the Castle Heights Military School. Whether you are looking for a day date, reunion, wedding rehearsal, or special occasion or just dinner, it’s definitely a special affair. The food is so good.
