Landidyll Hotel Forellenhof - Walsrode

The trout farm offers some beautiful local dishes with a good selection of meat and vegetarian choices. The trout is not really out of the hotel's direct environment, but still, very good it is the trout could have swallowed a little longer in clear water... just a little mud. The asparagus can be enjoyed in late spring very beautiful selected strings fresh and juicy and well tasted, sweet. Möwenpick ice cream deserts.

Here a few times during your stay at the connected hotel. Large total local food and dessert. When the weather cooperates, the outdoor seats are very nice and relaxing. They're brewing their own beer here, too.

The restaurant is located a few km outside Walsrode, but the short car ride is absolutely worth it. The athmosphere is very German, and so the menu that means NOT yet another not describing carving house, but a seasonal menu now with lots of goose, venison and...pumpkin, what I suspect are the valleys of trout, salmon and steak. My starter was a wonderful pumpkin chili cream soup 5,50 , the Missus and I had two very different but all excellent geese disches 14.20 and 23.80 . There was no children's menu, but the cook made another goose table, as directed by my daughter 5.90. In addition to a middle of the street Spätburgunder 25.90. Desserts were Cream Brulee 5.50, very great serving of local cheese 9.50, and what my daughter said was a wonderful ice cream, it looked good... 1.30. The attention span of my daughter is even shorter than mine, so the colored leaves and pencils of the very friendly and attentive waiters brought us a hit like the small play area just outside the dining room. It allowed us to enjoy dinner, partly in layers, without having to worry about our family who ruined the evening for other diners. Once I have completed this review, I will review the calendar to see when we can go back to try the venison...

The hotel is in a quiet location. the ambiente is beautiful. the hotel is well equipped. the rooms are large, but the bathroom is very narrow and small (you can hardly turn), and there is lack of small things like hooks for hand towels. we were very fond of the excellent food (back from the heidschnucke) and the well sorted wine offer. the breakfast buffet was extensive and had no wish open.

I've eaten a few times while I stayed in the connected hotel. great local food and dessert. if the weather plays along, the sitting outdoors are very nice and relaxing. they also brew their own beer here.
