Oishi Sushi Grill - Walnut Creek

I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried at this restaurant! The fresh sliced ginger was a nice touch and a welcome change from the usual jarred pink ginger. This place always delivers a quick and reasonably priced sushi meal. I also appreciated that the Wasabi wasn't too spicy for those who may be curious.

The Rainbow roll is always delicious! My only suggestion would be to provide more wasabi and soy sauce with it. Sometimes the amount of wasabi given is just a quarter teaspoon.

Too high and not tasty. I dont know w hat they put on their Garlic Edamame but its not good. It tastes like salt and soy sauce. Im used to an oyster or bean sauce. Sumo Grill has the best sauce for their edamam They should def try another sauce 2ndly I only pay $4.95 for the same amount at Sumo Grill. And this place charges double that. Not worth it.

Sushi rice taste/texture was old. Avocado in the roll tasted spoiled and made me gag. The shrimp tempura was as small as my pinky, so this place is skimping big time. For the amount of money I paid for 4 overpirced rolls and an appetizer $90), one would expect better quality ingredients

The food was not worth the price. The portions were very small, and I paid nearly 100 dollars for a disappointing meal. The amount of wasabi provided was also minimal. I do not plan on going back.
