Kung Fu Kitchen - Walnut Creek

I 'm pleasantly surprised. Since the '90s I used to love Yan 's kitchen in San Francisco at the base of the Transamerica building) and would drive out there just for their food. It was family run and a hole-in-the-wall but the cleanest and best tasting Chinese food ever, and I 've lived on both coasts. They only used the best cuts of meat, never fat or gristle. They closed : but then we found Yan 's China Bistro in Walnut Creek. It was pretty good. Not on par though with the original Yan 's but the best I could find. They got pretty pricy in the last few years, but we needed Chinese food the other day and they were closed. I tried Kung Fu delivered by grubhub) and wow! They are close to the original Yan 's! They are now my favorite and go-to when we want Chinese food. Excellent taste, excellent spices, and most important, NOT GREASY! I 'm so glad that I accidentally found this place.I can 't really comment on the atmosphere as ours was delivered but I 'm pretty sure it was 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. But you should verify this.

This small Restaurant has excellent service and outstanding Chinese food. The Hot &Sour Soup is the best I ever had. I highly recommend Kung Fu Kitchen. Vegetarian options: Vegetable Chow Mein

Walnut Creek doesn't have a really good food places but Kung Fu kitchen is one of the best places to in the city.

Kung Fu Kitchen in Walnut Creek exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Despite arriving near closing time, the staff warmly accommodated us and took our order with a friendly attitude. They even offered to let us pay next time when we realized we didn't have cash. The flavors and quality of the food were outstanding, showcasing their attention to detail and authentic taste. The cozy ambiance and tasteful decor added to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Kung Fu Kitchen is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for their remarkable service, delicious cuisine, and unforgettable dining experience.

This place is delicious. I’m Asian and am picky with Chinese food. I highly recommend this restaurant. My sons enjoyed Mangolian beef and the eggplant dish, so good. Thank you for feeding us a wonderful dinner.
