Bidrage med feedbackOrdered chicken 65 and being an Indian I requested to make it extra spicy, but It was very bland, unflavored and the chicken was hard too.
The food was decent, and you get what you pay for. However, the extra sauces don't seem worth the price. The Mint Chutney and Tamarind Chutney come with your Samosa, so paying $2.99 for more of the same size just isn't justified— it's barely enough to fit four quarters. For comparison, authentic Indian restaurants in Williamsburg charge around $4 for a much larger container that has the size of a soup cup. Moving on to the naan, the Butter Naan and Garlic Naan were reasonably priced, but unfortunately, I couldn't really taste either the butter or the garlic. The Butter Masala had a decent amount of spice, which was a plus. The raita was an extra $1.99 for a tiny container, but surprisingly, it ended up being my favorite part of the meal. Overall, I gave it a try, but I don’t think I'll be returning. I'd rate it 3.5 stars.
I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I've ordered from this restaurant three times in the last week and a half. This is the best Indian cuisine I’ve found, and their prices are very reasonable, which makes it even better! They also always include a complimentary snack, whether it’s cake, puffed crackers, or something else, which is just the cherry on top for me. I’d rate them 100000/10—these folks really know what they're doing!
The portion size was disappointing, and the rice lacked flavor.
