Bidrage med feedbackGreat sandwich. It was my first from Vinny’s. I’m definitely coming back. The prices are very reasonable and nice sandwich selection.
Mom and I love Vinny’s lobster rolls and chocolate chip cookies and get them every single Monday. Absolutely scrumptious and the staff are AWESOME! Thanks, Vinny!
I was skeptical of anyplace that proclaims themselves the king....but I'll be damned this was the best roast beef I've ever had. I had #26 roast beef, horseradish and jalapenos.....absolutely delicious. Staff was super friendly as well
Amazing! I ordered the Tommy and it had so much roast beef on it, I ended up eating half and saved the other half for dinner. If anyone says Where's the Beef... they Must go to Vinny's! Lots of meat, Very tasty! The staff is also Wonderful! We were working in the area and now hope we will be working around there again!
Vinny 's Deli is an Italian-style delicatessen that opened in Wallingford, Connecticut in 1982. It was founded by Vinny Iannuzzi. After graduating from Hamden High School, he went to Quinnipiac University and studied business before opening a liquor store in Wallingford in 1979. The store closed down two years later. Iannuzzi always loved business and looked to start a new venture. He worked in a lot of markets and restaurants while growing up. With help and support from his family, Iannuzzi opened his own deli in the center of Wallingford. Vinny 's specialty is their roast beef, which is freshly cooked on the premises on a daily basis. This is why the deli is frequently called The King of Roast Beef . Other popular items include their tuna and chicken salad sandwiches. The sandwich menu has grown considerably over the last few decades. Many sandwiches are developed from suggestions and ideas from the customers themselves. Even a Cajun Alligator sandwich appears on the menu during Mardi Gras season. In addition to their ever-evolving lineup of delicious deli sandwiches, Vinny 's also serves salads and lobster rolls. My family and I have visited Vinny 's a number of times over the years. They have some of the best deli sandwiches that you can find in the area. On our most recent visit, we stopped to pick up some subs to take with us on a family outing. I ordered the Chuck 's Baseball Championship (roast beef, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato ranch dressing), my wife ordered The Fonzi (chicken cutlet, bacon, lettuce, tomato honey mustard), and our son ordered The Godfather (sausage, mozzarella cheese sauce). The sub rolls tasted so chewy and fresh and the ingredients were all high quality. No one was disappointed with their sandwiches at all. We 'll keep coming back to Vinny 's for years to come.
